In order to appropriately prepare Northwestern Ontario for the rollout of the Service System Manager system, which was first announced in 2019, North Superior Workforce Planning Board partnered with Northern Policy Institute to undertake a White Paper.
Specifically, this paper assesses the four key themes:
• Focus on digital delivery in the new system is unrealistic
• Geographic distance and climate impacts on service delivery
• Diversity of service population/needs
• System-level supports
